People Operations Manager

Overview:

The People Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining Human Resources best practices and leading global initiatives supporting benefits administration, HRIS and reporting, performance management, talent development and employee relations. The Director will work collaboratively with regional HR Managers and Business Heads to drive the execution of programs and initiatives. The successful candidate is a seasoned player coach who works best in a fast paced, high growth environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop programs designed to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create high potential employee professional development and succession planning
  • Coach managers and problem solve people issues that are aligned to business goals
  • Assess and communicate process improvement opportunities by creating road map on a global level
  • Streamline the onboarding process and maintain quality control to ensure consistency of new hire experience
  • Direct and plan the day to day operations of the Company’s benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan)
  • Partner with Finance to develop key people metrics and HR reporting/analytics
  • Partner with management to develop a culture of learning, high employee engagement and continuous feedback
  • Conduct employee surveys and drive culture initiatives to enhance and maximize employee experience

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience managing and/or directing operations within Human Resources, preferably from professional services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to run global HR programs and initiatives
  • Required to have in depth knowledge of HR employment law and practices in addition to keeping abreast of changes
  • Ability to rapidly learn and develop a superior understanding of the organization’s goals, objectives, and culture
  • Proven ability to lead a team of HR professionals consisting of various experience levels and disciplines (HR Managers, Payroll, Talent Development, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior management to introduce new ideas, obtain support for initiatives and share ongoing progress updates
